I went on a mission of finding a hairbrush today. It wasn't really for my uhmm..hair. as you have probably already guessed. ;)
I strolled slowly through 4 different antique stores and came up with zilch. Nada. I don't want just any random brush-I want a unique, pretty and antique one. Something pretty enough to leave out on my vanity. I couldn't believe I didn't find a single brush ! Which makes me wonder ...Are the spanko's in my town unaware ? Did they hog all of the brushes ?

lol. well personally, I like the 'vanilla'-style brushes you can find at, say, Target or any old store. Plus, it makes those routine shopping trips a tad more fun!
Some of the coolest, retro-themed brushes that you can leave out laying around with anyone batting any eye are from RosyBottom.com -- a way fab site you probably already know about.
For real vintage, perhaps ebay might be a place to look?
Best regards,
Dave
Thanks for the tips Dave. We had a brush that we purchased at a beauty supply store. It broke. :(
Interesting... I think it's wrong when the dominate will try out the different brushes on the one's backside... ~shivers~

I personally think it is just fine to test brushes out in the store on the bum of your partner! It is a lot of fun and I am at a point where I just do not care what anyone thinks anymore! Maybe it will give someone a good chuckle for the day...
I had a paddle brush I got at the Aveda store I just loved, and it broke the second time I used it! Just too hard of a spanker I guess! :)
Anyway, my favorite brushes come from NuWest and Rosy Bottoms for sure hands down. I also like the Vermont Country Store catalog for bath and shower brushes.
Vintage ones are very hard to find, keep looking and in the meantime make a visit to Rosy Bottoms and order yourself one of her paddle brushes! Highly recommended!

PS. I would be happy to use it on you in Dallas this summer!
Hi Amber!
I agree with Dave that you can find some great brushes in rather pedestrian places. Here is an article I wrote last year about the hairbrush as a spanking implement and how to select one.
I wish you the very best with your new blog. It looks as though you're off to a fine start.
With warm regards,
Bonnie
Thanks for the link Bonnie. Great info. Thank you also for the encouragement and kind words. I'm excited to already be making new friends here.
